Send through your plans, a moodboard, or a rough idea on the back of an envelope. Consultations are unhurried and carry no obligation, and I will tell you honestly if I am not the right person for the project.
Useful to include
- Plans or rough dimensions of the room, even hand drawn.
- Photographs of the space as it stands today.
- Any appliances you already own or intend to buy.
- A moodboard, or three images of kitchens you keep returning to.
- When you would like to be cooking in it.
Questions I am asked
How long does a kitchen take?
Between three and five months from first survey to final adjustment, depending on stone lead times and how quickly finishes are approved. The drawing stage is the part worth not rushing.
Do you work outside the city?
Yes, within reason. Travel matters because I install personally, so distance is discussed honestly before anything is quoted.
Will you work with my architect?
Gladly. I would rather join early, while service positions and openings can still move a few centimetres, than inherit a room that is already fixed.
Can I supply my own hardware?
No. Blum is specified on every commission and never substituted, because the motion is the part you feel every day.
