The atelier
I do not take on every project. I take on the right one, and I hold the detail to the last millimetre.
Drawing
I measure the room myself, then draw it to the millimetre. Sightlines, reveals and shadow gaps are resolved on paper long before anything is machined.
How a commission runsMaterial
Smoked oak, fluted walnut, matte lacquer, veined stone, brass and copper. High-end surfaces only. Nothing rustic, nothing farmhouse.

Years of running turnkey kitchens taught me that the real craft is not just in one trade, but in the space between them. I do the design, the site meetings and the quality surveying, then I keep the plumbers, electricians, builders and tilers aligned to one brief.
You get progress reports, clear decisions, and a kitchen that is finished the way it was drawn. A few commissions a year, each treated as if it were going into my own home. If that is how you would like to build, I would like to see your plans.

Why a three millimetre reveal changes a whole room
The gap between two doors is not a tolerance. It is a decision, and it sets the rhythm of everything you look at afterwards.
Choosing a slab: veining, book-matching and the cut you cannot undo
Stone is bought by the piece, not the square metre. Standing in the yard with a marker is the most important hour of the project.
The part of a kitchen you touch a hundred times a day
